Below are the commands for this ribbon panel. This panel is specifically related to the AutoCAD, AutoCAD Map 3D and BricsCAD platforms. These commands are not included in the Civil 3D version.
Import Point Styles
Stringer uses Blocks to store Point Style information - this can be in the form of a symbol (traditional block to represent the marker of a point) or it can be inclusive of the label components of the point (the description text of point number, elevation, description, etc).
If you are new to using Stringer Topo and you are using your own drawing Template (or other starting drawing), then your drawing will not contain default blocks used in the standard Stringer Settings (the Stinger Settings lets users establish point codes to: apply Point Styles and Symbol Blocks, and set up whether the code should be 'strung' with 2D and/or 3D polylines, with the 3D polylines being used directly as breaklines in the surface).
This command imports default 'Point Style' blocks into your drawing, for import of your survey data using one of the supplied Stringer Settings correlations files.
Note: We absolutely encourage customers to establish their own point codes to use, point styles and Stringer Settings. This is a 'getting started' tool if you are new to Stringer. Once you've established your drawing template with all the required Stringer 'point style' blocks, this command is not neccessary.
