Stringer ePlan V19.02 Release Notes

  • admin

Stringer ePlan V19.02 uses a Civil Survey Solutions V19 license.  If you have already licensed Stringer ePlan V19 (any version) then there will be no licensing change in this version.

Stringer ePlan

  • Fixes/Improvements
    • Enumerate Parcels Command
      • Added a Reverse Direction of Parcel option, for users to change the direction as required
      • Volume/Folio now supports multiple inputs
Special Note to BricsCAD users: The [Enter] button will not activate a new line in the input box for multiple titles.  Use the | symbol on the keyboard to insert a line into the input box for multiple volume/folio inputs.
      • The Title Type now includes an option of <none> to remove the field entry
      • Add Address Form
        • If you opened the Location Address and clicked on Delete to remove the location, an error would result.  This bug has been fixed.
        • Ticking on Complex Name will now activate all the relevant items for editing and inclusions in the xml
      • Fixed a problem with certain geometry resulting in a parcel with an arc segment, for that arc to be generated in the wrong direction in the xml
    • Enumerate Segments
      • Segments can now be created using lines or polylines, including arcs.  Previously you could only enumerate lines as segments.
      • When a polyline is selected, the user is prompted to enumerate each part of the polyline.
      • Arcs are supported in the enumerations.  Additional information has been added for when arcs are to be enumerated.
      • If it is desired to have a single arc segment, it must be created as a polyline (or converted into a polyline).
      • An issue with assigned bearing/distance values not being saved has been resolved.
    • Parcel Linkages
      • Multiple Title Types can now be assigned to a Non-Spatial Parcel.  Previously only one Title Type could be assigned
      • When a Parcel Linkage is added, the Parcel Reference list is edited to prevent the same Parcel Reference being added twice as a Parcel Linkage
      • Added a new Filter by Type tick box for selecting from the Parcel Reference dropdown.  when ticked on, the Parcel Reference dropdown list will show only parcels that match the Parcel Intent set by the user for the Non-Spatial Parcel
      • When a new Non-Spatial Parcel is added and the <Add Address> button is clicked, the settings from the previously created Non-Spatial Parcel will be applied by default.  Edit this as requried
      • Special Note: If a new Parcel Linkage is required, click on Add New Association first, then use the Parcel Reference pick list to change the Parcel Reference used for the new Parcel Linkage.
    • ePlan Annotations
      • A new button has been added to open a list view of the created annotations for user summary.
    • Parcel List
      • Previously, extinguished parcels were omitted from this list.  Extinguished parcels are now shown.
  • New features

Note: Circled commands are new.

  • New Commands
    •  Convert Civil 3D Parcels.  This will find Civil 3D parcels and create equivalent ePlan enumerated parcels for editing and upload to the xml.  The name of the Civil 3D parcel is transferred across to be the name of the ePlan enumerated parcel
    •  Reset Bearing/Distance. This command will remove any manual assignment of bearing/distance.  It is particularly useful after scaling/rotating data – this may be required if the data is prepared on an assumed coordinate system and then is transformed onto the required coordinate system.

Known issues

  • For new installs, the license activation form may not display the product name or version (it may default to show V19.00).  This will be resolved upon activation.
  • Only one drawing should be open at the time of ePlan XML export, to prevent other drawing objects from being included in the export.
